Mother Teresa  was born in El Paso, Texas in the Unites States of America.  She is the Foundress and Superior General of the Pax  Christi Institute, an apostolic-contemplative consecrated life Faith Community.

Mother Teresa received her B.A. degree in Social Studies from our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas in 1969.  She received her Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Incarnated Word University in San Antonio, Texas in 1990.  She also pursued graduate studies in Counseling from Sam Houston States University and Texas A & M University.

In Turkey, under the director of the distinguished archeologist Hebrew University professor Dr. David Goren, she took a course of study, on site, following the Footsteps of St. Paul, the Apostles, and our Blessed Mother Mary.  She continued, on-site studies of the same in Greece, Patmos, and Rome.

Mother Teresa has traveled extensively presenting Jesus Christ our Peace to all the world.  She has evangelized in Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Poland, Czeck Republic, most of Europe, Mexico and Canada.

Following the Footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Land has always been her most profound devotion and desire.  She has visited the Holy Land as a pilgrim student under the guidance of Religious Priests twice and she herself has been the Guide and Spiritual Director six times.
